Chad believes strongly in and encourages his team to pursue continuing of their education and community involvement. He is also a recent graduate of the Greater Burlington Leadership program. He serves on many local committees including Burlington’s Zoning Board of Adjustment and several other committees under Greater Burlington Partnership, including the Burlington Lightscape Committee. He is very active in his community and industry. Chad is proud to be a Certified Lighting Efficiency Professional (CLEP) through the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), and is a long time member of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America where he has served on the Industrial Lighting Committee. He is also the inventor behind several new products for Energyficient including the new Q-Lux brand of LED lighting and the Q-Series electrical junction box and utility luminaire.
To day, Chad has over 30 years of experience in the lighting industry and is well respected as a leader, innovator and entrepreneur. He began working for his father’s electrical contracting company at the age of ten. Born and raised in Burlington, Iowa - where he still lives - lighting and electrical work is in his blood.
